Strand Pelletizer
- Developed and engineered for the production of most thermoplastic pellets
- Sound dampening system isolates cutting chamber from all other components, which reduces noise levels from 75dBA to 85 dBA (depending on product and type of operation)
- Choice of replaceable rotor, blade or milling-type helical design
- Rotors available in a variety of materials, tool steels; Stellite-tipped and contamination-free carbide
- Assembly consists of in-feed table, and upper and lower feed rolls to ensure positive strand control
- Serrated lower feed roll is driven via a change gear from the main rotor drive
- Upper feed roll has a stainless steel core with Hypalon covering
- Unique design and feed roll orientation provides excellent pulling force on the strands without the need to drive the upper roll
- Hypalon covering is flexible enough to accomodate any discrepancy in strand diameter, this reduces the problem of dropped strands
